TES 4: Oblivion Books

One of the amazing things about Oblivion is that so much time has been put into the books that you find lying around. What people often don’t realise is that the books in Oblivion aren’t just decoration, they serve three purposes: To tell you more about the world, its lore, and its history To give you useful information like hints on where to find things (e.g. Map markers) To increase your skills. Yes, reading certain books can increase your skills such as hand to hand, speech craft, and even acrobatics! So by all means read through the books on here, but make sure you at least open the books in-game to get what benefits are on offer. NB: Quest specific books will not be listed here.
